Details
Extron DTP T USW 333 (part number 60-1329-52) — a three-input switcher with an integrated long-distance DTP 330 transmitter and analog audio embedding.
Three sources arrive: two on HDMI, one on a 15-pin HD VGA connector. One shielded CATx cable leaves, carrying video, embedded audio and control as far as 330 feet to a DTP 330 receiver, a DTP CrossPoint matrix or an HDBaseT endpoint. The VGA feed is digitised onto the link without being scaled, and the separate analog stereo jack can be tied to a specific video input or told to follow whatever the switcher selects. Auto-switching, contact closure select and a tally output let the unit run in rooms with no control processor at all.
Key Capabilities
- Two HDMI inputs plus one VGA-QXGA RGBHV input feeding a single DTP 330 output
- Analog stereo embedding with -18 dB to +24 dB gain trim in 1 dB steps per input
- EDID management between the sources and the display at the far end of the link
- RS-232 control at 9600 baud, contact closure selection and a 4-pole tally port
- Separate Over DTP port passes bidirectional RS-232 and 30-60 kHz modulated IR
- Powered locally or remotely from a DTP 330-enabled device across the same cable
Where It Is Used
Lecture theatres, divisible ballrooms, large training rooms and multi-storey corporate fitouts where the source pocket and the rack are a full cable pull apart. The half-rack chassis hides in a lectern or fastens under a table with the optional bracket.
