The DTP T EU 232 puts two source connections and a twisted pair uplink behind one flush wall plate, so a lectern or meeting table needs a single CATx run back to the rack instead of separate video, audio and control cabling. An HDMI input and a 15-pin HD analog input share the faceplate, and whichever one a presenter reaches for is carried to the matrix switcher or receiver at the far end along with stereo audio and bidirectional RS-232 and IR. Because either end of the link can supply power, the plate does not have to sit next to a mains outlet.
