Details
Extron DTP R DP 4K 230 (part number 60-1076-23) — the display-end unit of a DTP 230 DisplayPort extension link.
Sitting behind the screen or inside a lectern, this receiver takes in the DTP 230 twisted pair feed and rebuilds it into a DisplayPort output, a balanced or unbalanced analog stereo audio output, and RS-232 and IR control for the connected device. It pairs with a DTP T DP 4K 230 transmitter, which is purchased on its own. A single RJ-45 terminated to TIA/EIA T568B replaces what would otherwise be three or four separate cable pulls.
Key Capabilities
- Outputs one DisplayPort signal on a female DisplayPort connector, DisplayPort 1.1a with HDCP 1.4 and 2.3.
- Receiver-side pixel clock of 268 MHz across a link carrying up to 10.8 Gbps, 2.7 Gbps per lane.
- Drives 4K 4096x2160 or UHD 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, and 2560x1600 at 60 Hz with reduced blanking.
- Analog stereo audio leaves on a 5-pole 3.5 mm captive screw connector at greater than +14 dBu balanced into 600 ohms.
- Audio output impedance of 50 ohms unbalanced or 100 ohms balanced, with channel-to-channel gain error held to 0.2 dB.
- Local RS-232 on a 3-pole captive screw connector, plus IR pass-through from 30 kHz to 60 kHz.
Where It Is Used
Lands in boardrooms, classrooms, huddle spaces, courtrooms, control rooms and clinical review stations — wherever the display is fixed and the source has to stay in a rack. It can be powered locally or drawn remotely from the transmitter, which matters when the display location has no spare outlet.
