What separates the 330 from the shorter 230 version is that the distance figure does not fall away as resolution climbs. Every format Extron rates for this link, from 1080p at 60 Hz through 2560x1600 and on to 4K and UHD at 30 or 60 Hz, is specified to the same 330 feet. That makes cable planning simple: one number covers the whole room. The unit lands the shielded CATx run on a female RJ-45 and presents recovered video on a single female HDMI type A output, with a DVI-D sink supported through a suitable cable or adapter.
