Thirty-five feet is the step up from the 25 ft version when a rack sits in a closet rather than in the room. Extron's hybrid construction - multimode optical fibers for the high-speed lanes, 24 AWG tinned copper for the auxiliary and low-speed channels - keeps a full 32.4 Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 signal intact over that distance, complete with HDCP 2.3 and HDR. The finished cable is only 0.18 in across and bends to a 0.79 in radius, so it threads through a ceiling or a stud bay like a control cable rather than a video trunk, and the CMP rating clears it for plenum spaces.
