Details
Extron DMP 128 C P AT (part number 60-1179-10) — a 12x8 ProDSP digital audio matrix processor with acoustic echo cancellation, an analog telephone interface and Dante audio networking.
The C P AT is the most fully equipped member of the original DMP 128 family. Twelve mic/line inputs feed a 64-bit floating point DSP engine with AEC and an eight-group automixer; eight analog outputs leave the box. A POTS interface handles an analog phone line and handset on RJ-11 connectors, which still matters in buildings where the conference bridge is a copper pair. An internal four-port gigabit switch adds Dante transport for 56 received and 24 transmitted channels.
Key Capabilities
- Twelve mic/line inputs: eight with switchable +48 VDC phantom power, four without.
- Eight mono (or four stereo) balanced/unbalanced analog outputs on four 6-pole captive screw connectors.
- POTS telephone interface with 300 to 3200 Hz response and country codes for the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
- Dante/AES-67 transport on four RJ-45 ports: 56 channels Rx, 24 channels Tx, 24-bit/48 kHz uncompressed.
- AEC tail length above 200 msec, convergence up to 60 dB per second, plus up to 20 dB of noise cancellation.
- EXP expansion port, RS-232, front-panel USB, four digital I/O connectors and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet host port.
Where It Is Used
Boardrooms and conference suites that mix video calls with analog phone participants, courtrooms, training centers, houses of worship and government facilities on a Dante backbone. The 1U full-rack metal enclosure mounts with the included brackets and runs from an internal 100-240 VAC supply drawing 28 watts.
