The DAK SF 3CT supplies the 3 in paper cone driver and rotary tap selector switch that install into a BCK SF 3CT LP low-profile back can to complete a fully functional SF 3CT LP SoundField XD full-range ceiling speaker. The back can enclosure, cutout template, ceiling mounting hardware, and captive screw input connector are supplied separately with the BCK SF 3CT LP.

Each driver assembly covers 65 Hz to 20 kHz with 165 degree conical dispersion, accepts 16 W continuous pink noise or 32 W program, and offers six-position rotary taps for 70V or 100V distributed lines in addition to direct 8 ohm operation.
