Details
Extron DA6 HD 4K PLUS (part number 60-1609-01) — the six output member of the DA HD 4K PLUS family, a 1U half-rack 4K/60 HDMI distribution amplifier with an internal power supply.
When one feed has to reach six screens, the constraint is usually HDCP key exchange rather than bandwidth. This unit handles both: HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 1.4 and 2.3 across all six ports, and the full 18 Gbps needed for 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma. HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision travel through unchanged, along with LPCM 7.1 at 24-bit 192 kHz, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Automatic input equalization covers a 15 foot input run at 600 MHz. Every output can also bus-power an active HDMI cable, 1.1 W per port up to 6.6 W in total, so long DIY-terminated runs stay viable.
