Extron DA4 HD 8K L (part number 60-1871-01) — a four output HDMI 2.1 distribution amplifier rated to 8K/60, with RS-232 and Ethernet control, in a one inch high half-rack metal enclosure.
Four displays at 8K rates asks a lot of a passive split, which is why this unit reclocks and equalizes rather than simply fanning out. It runs to 40.1 Gbps on a 2376 MHz pixel clock, so 7680x4320 arrives at 60 Hz with 4:2:0 sampling or at 30 Hz with full 4:4:4, and 3840x2160 at 120 Hz is available for high-refresh work. EDID Minder Plus carries the extended memory blocks that 5K panels and 21:9 displays publish across EDID and DisplayID, while Key Minder holds HDCP 2.3 authentication across all four outputs at once. Unlike the two-output model in this family, the DA4 adds a rear panel RS-232 port alongside the LAN connection.
