Extron CTL/500 (part number 22-148-02) — the 500 ft spool of Extron's non-plenum Comm-Link cable, for control runs that do not need a full 1,000 ft reel.

CTL bundles the two halves of a control drop into one gray jacket. A pair of 18 AWG bare copper conductors handles the power side; a twisted, shielded pair of 22 AWG conductors handles the data side. Buying the shorter reel keeps leftover cable off the job when a project needs one or two rooms wired rather than a whole floor. Keep it out of return-air plenums — this version is not plenum rated.
