Most rooms end up needing one simple thing at the table: a way to pick a source without a touch panel. The 500 CCB builds that into the enclosure. Three momentary switches sit in the lid area, each wired out on its own captive screw connector, so each button can select an input on a connected switcher that has contact closure ports. Blue LEDs show which selection is live. Because the buttons occupy space, the CCB body is longer front to back than a standard 500, and its surface cutout is correspondingly deeper.
