Extron CA 83T PT (part number 42-358-03) — white eight-driver column array loudspeaker with the pan and tilt SMK PT CA wall mounting system included.
Column geometry is what makes this speaker useful: eight drivers stacked over 29.8 in. compress the vertical lobe to about 38° at 1 kHz while spreading roughly 180° across the room. Less energy reaches the ceiling and floor, so less returns as reverberation and consonants survive the trip to the back row. Extron places the power tap selector on the bottom of the enclosure, which keeps commissioning simple once the speaker is on the wall.
