Extron CA 83T PT (part number 42-358-02) — black eight-driver column array loudspeaker supplied with the SMK PT CA pan and tilt wall mount.
The CA 83T is the mid-size member of Extron's CA family: a 29.8 in. aluminum column holding eight 3 in. (76 mm) paper cone drivers. It works either on its own in small and medium rooms or as a fill speaker alongside CA 163 arrays, because every CA model is voiced to the same tonal target. A rotary tap selector on the underside of the enclosure sets 70 V or 100 V wattage or switches the speaker to 6.5 ohm direct operation, so one part number covers both distribution schemes.

Where It Is Used
Classrooms, training rooms, meeting spaces, chapels and mid-size lecture halls are the primary targets, and the same speaker serves as side or rear fill in larger rooms fronted by CA 163 columns. The IP54 rating widens its usefulness to covered outdoor areas and dusty industrial interiors.
