Extron CA 163 PT (part number 42-338-13) — white long throw column array loudspeaker for 70/100 volt distributed systems, supplied with the SMK PT CA pan and tilt wall mount.
This is the high impedance member of the CA 163 family in a white powder coat, intended for constant voltage lines. Because Extron builds the high impedance version without a transformer, high pass filtering is unnecessary and the speaker keeps the same tonal signature as its 8 ohm sibling. The enclosure holds sixteen 3 in. (76 mm) paper cone drivers over 51.9 in. of height, producing a wide horizontal pattern with tight vertical control that keeps reflected energy off hard ceilings and floors.

Where It Is Used
White column arrays blend into light-coloured walls in chapels, museums, airport concourses, lecture theatres and civic halls. On a 70/100 V backbone a single amplifier channel can feed several of these speakers, which makes the version practical for long side walls and rear fill in large reverberant rooms.
