Details
Extron CA 163 LP (part number 42-339-12) — black 70/100 volt long throw column array loudspeaker with the low-profile SMK LP CA wall mount.
On a constant voltage backbone one amplifier channel can feed a run of speakers, which is why large venues standardise on 70 V or 100 V distribution. Extron builds the high impedance CA 163 without a transformer, so high pass filtering is not required and the speaker keeps the same voicing as the 8 ohm version used elsewhere in the same room. Sixteen 3 in. (76 mm) drivers fill a 51.9 in. aluminum column; part 42-339-12 is the black, single-speaker configuration with the shallow bracket.

This version drops into side wall and rear fill positions in raked rooms, complementing low impedance CA 163 units already carrying the front-of-room load.
