Extron 3.5 mm, 6 pole, blue, no tail (part number 101-007-01) is the six-position captive screw connector in Extron's 3.5 mm range, moulded without a strain relief tail and packed ten to a bag.

Six positions is the widest count Extron builds on this pitch, and it turns up where a single block has to carry more than one signal group - paired balanced audio channels, or a control port combining serial, IR and ground returns. Replacing one means every conductor in that group has to come off and go back, so a tidy plug with individually captive screws saves real time. Wiring Notes

Avoid tinning the strands, which deform and loosen over time. On unbalanced feeds, the sleeve belongs on the ground contact, not the negative.
