Extron 232/2 (part number 26-433-01) — a 2 ft (60 cm) 9-pin D male-to-female RS-232 control cable from the Extron 232 Series.

Two feet is a rack jumper, and that is exactly the job this cable was cut for. Most Extron hardware accepts RS-232, which is how a MediaLink Controller, an IP Link serial interface or a third-party control processor issues commands and reads status back. The 232/2 makes that link between two devices sitting in the same rack without leaving a loop of excess cable behind the rails.
