NDS Surgical Imaging continues their streak of industry firsts
Eliminating cables that line the operation room floor removes excess sanitation protocol and erases tripping risks, allowing enhanced mobility in the operating rooms for both physicians, and the equipment. Before cables and connectors were easily damaged, increasing the risk of signal loss during surgery. The device can be used in tandem with the ZeroWire G2, an external wireless video transmission platform that is compatible with both medical and non-medical devices. The G2 utilizes a point-to-point tracking system that locks the transmitter and receiver together, avoiding signal loss when moved.

Both will be released this year, creating a new standard in endoscopy units and other surgical settings.
