Living Kidney Donors

Kidney Transplants are very important in Saving Patient Lives

Orange County, CA - May 24th 2022 - Currently in the U.S. there are over 120,000 patients waiting for an organ transplant. Of this number over 100,000 are waiting for kidney transplants. The average wait time for a kidney transplant is currently 3.5 years and can vary based on different circumstances.

Each month over 2,000 patients are added to a kidney waiting list while 10+ people die each day while waiting for a life-saving kidney transplant. This equates to every 12+ minutes someone is being added to a kidney transplant list. This has become an epidemic as thousands of patients are dying each year while waiting or are too sick to receive a kidney transplant.

At Ampronix our goal is to bring awareness to the ongoing issue in which lives could be saved if more people could donate organs such as a kidney. A current example of a patient needing a kidney is Cynthia Hall who lives in Fair Oaks, CA. After her family and husband were denied being a living kidney donor she is now in drastic need of help. A Facebook page has been created for Cynthia as well as a website which can be viewed here.

There have been multiple non-profits that have dedicated their cause to finding patients' kidneys and two examples of this is the National Kidney Registry and Donor Shield. As more and more people become familiar with this issue more lives will be saved.

Ampronix is dedicated to continuing to bring awareness to the community and is dedicated to saving patient lives through community outreach as well as developing life-saving medical technology.
