Robots Help with Therapy for Autistic Children

This engaging humanoid robot is designed to help with teaching autistic adolescents’ important social skills. The robot has two movable arms and a big head with a large LCD screen that acts as the robot’s face. It can speak, listen, and see due to the RealSense 3D camera, which has a sensitive microphone and powerful speakers.
The QTrobot is very easy to use. Therapists can control the robot to conduct sessions tailored to each child, meeting their educational needs. The QTrobot is available in the United States. LuxAI plans to expand its reach and make it available for other interested autism centers and schools by the end of June 2019.
