Orange County, CA - May 16th, 2018 - AcQMap is high-resolution imaging and mapping system. Designed to detect and show a standard voltage-based and higher resolution charge-source maps. AcQMap is able to generate in real-time, 3D images of the heart chamber using ultrasound. It maps the electrical-conduction of each heartbeat to find complex arrhythmias (irregular or abnormal heartbeat rhythm) across the entire atrial chamber.
Headquartered in Carlsbad, California, Acutus Medical won FDA clearance in November 2017. This development would be effective for observing the heart’s response to treatment during cardiac ablation process (a procedure that scars small areas in the heart that may be involved in heart rhythm problems.) After each treatment, the heart can be re-mapped in seconds to continually see any changes from past mapping.
