– Ampronix Incorporated, of Irvine California, receives TÜV Certification for ISO 9001 and ESD just short of its 23th anniversary.

Irvine California, May 17, 2006:AMPRONIX INC. has just been recognized by TÜV America with independent third party certification for ISO 9001:2000 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 simultaneously.  This comes just a few weeks before AMPRONIX celebrates 23 years serving the professional Medical community.

As a leader in Medical Imaging technology, AMPRONIX has always recognized the need for quality.  This is why we selected one of the most stringent qualification programs to certify ISO and ESD. We at AMPRONIX have always believed that there are special needs within the Medical Community, and even if in the entire global market scope Medical remains a small market segment we feel that their needs are critically important.

Certified by TÜV America, the AMPRONIX ISO 9001 certification stands out as a major achievement in recognition of our ongoing dedication to quality.  TÜV is highly respected and known for its incredibly high standards, and this independent third party certification is an extremely high achievement.  ISO 9001 is a generic system standard that specifies, in very broad terms, the necessary components of a quality management system.  Rather than being specific to any one industry, it details the basic requirements of the quality function for all industries.  ISO 9001's primary purpose is to provide organizations with useful, internationally recognized models for operating a quality management system.  ISO 9001:2000 is the current version of this standard.

Simultaneously, AMPRONIX asked TÜV America to provide an examination and certification for ESD compliance.  This ESD certification provides additional quality assurance through its close safeguarding of all of the high-end electronics and technology that passes through the hand of AMPRONIX, whether for sale or service. 

Serving as a focal point for ESD standards development, Association standards and specifications provide the guidance companies need to get their ESD control programs off and running.  An ANSI recognized standards development organization; the Association has published more than thirty documents covering electrostatic discharge in the electronics environment.  These include standards, standard test methods, standard practices, technical reports, and informational advisory documents.
