are pleased to introduce the new color dye sublimation
DICOM-compatible imager, model UP-D77MD, specifically
engineered for nuclear medicine, PET/CT and
3D-CT applications, which require accurate color
reproduction and screen-to-print matching.

Electronics took the wraps off a full page digital
printer with 300 dpi and 24-bit color depth
at the Radiological Society of North America
2005 show. Utilizing an advanced color management
tool, the printer's color output can be fine-tuned
to match a display without altering grayscale
values. Once calibrated, settings may be copied
to other UP-D77MD printers to streamline setup
and deliver consistent output across all devices.
The
unit prints on letter-size, premium paper with
a built-in lamination layer delivering durable,
photo-realistic prints. The integrated digital
DICOM interface enables the unit to be directly
connected to DICOM imaging systems or to any
DICOM network. Color settings can be set up
and saved for each modality that utilizes the
printer.
