The
Sony DXC-S500 consists of 2-piece body, one
is CHU (Camera Head Unit) with compact & light
weight and built-in Peltier cooling devices,
the other is CCU (Camera Control Unit) with
3.5 inch LCD monitor. CCU incorporates IEEE1394
interface for direct connection with PC. Also
it is equipped with PCMCIA card slot for storing
images into memory stick or removable HDD etc.
Moreover it supports easy connection with PC
by Hot plug-in and various application software
by TWAIN driver. Thus the Sony DXC-S500 best
helps microscopy users in image shooting, capturing
and storing by many features of high resolution,
precise color reproduction and excellent connectivity
with PC.
