It incorporates a high-brightness LCD panel, which offers excellent picture quality even under high ambient light conditions.

The Sony LMD-7220W accepts NTSC and PAL composite signals with automatic switching. The aspect ratio is selectable between 4:3 and 16:9. An optional SDI input adaptor, BKM320D, is available.
