The MWD 421, Barco’s 21 inch landscape color display with a resolution of 1600 x 1200, offers unequaled image fidelity and consistency for modality viewing and PACS in radiology and DICOM visible light applications, such as endoscopic and laparascopic procedures.

The Barco MWD 421 features the TrueGrey® and TrueWhite® electronic system for color stability, the WAVE-technology for unequaled image fidelity and Barco's unique calibration routine for image conformance and consistency over time and across displays.

Barco’s color CRT displays feature a unique calibration routine by means of an optional external sensor and the MediCal® Pro image conformance and consistency software. Quality and consistency of the image can be automatically checked and corrected in case the system’s results differ from the reference values.

The Barco MWD 421 features a set of programmed scannings, which automatically adjust the display’s timings to the graphics controller used. With the USB-hub, keyboard and other computing devices can be connected.
