For
use in bright medical review and conferencing
environments, Barco developed the dedicated
DICOM THEATER® Rear Projection System, a
state-of-the art display solution for high-quality
large screen medical imaging. Its rear configuration
ensures bright and sharp DICOM compliant images,
even in ambient light environments. The unique
combination and alignment of all optical components,
combined with Barco’s unique I-GUARD®
sensor technology, offers exceptional performance
and optimum image quality. The intelligent I-GUARD®
sensor constantly monitors light output and
stabilizes the image quality to ensure continuous
DICOM-compliance.
Efficient
medical viewing means looking at multiple images
at the same time. Therefore, DICOM THEATER®
is equipped with an innovative picture-in-picture
functionality. This means that only one single
projector unit is needed to display different
modalities simultaneously. In this way, up to
two data images and one video image can be combined.
